Have you been to the new Lefty’s Alley & Eats in Lewes yet?
Well we have, and we want to tell you all about it.
In fact, when we were informed a few weeks ago that our group was being honored with Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s “Team of the Year” award, we conducted a quick survey of our office staff to see where they wanted to go to celebrate.
And it was off to Lefty’s we went!
Definitely filling a niche in the coastal Delaware market, Lefty’s is destined to become the new mecca for fun and entertainment in the resort area. Sure, there are other fantastic choices like the water slides on Route 1 and FunLand on The Boardwalk, but there's nothing quite like Lefty's here at the Delaware beaches.
Let's start with the bowling...
Now we may not be as good at bowling as we are at selling real estate - how's that for the understatement of the year, eh?
But we sure had one hell of a good time trying when we visited Lefty’s a few weeks ago. We had a great evening, and we have a photo to prove it.
We definitely plan on returning to Lefty's in the very near future, probably several times to be honest. We still have so much more to try and experience.
And well, practice makes perfect on the bowling lanes, doesn't it?
In addition to the 16 lanes of bowling, co-owners D.J. Hill and Chad Moore have created so much more at their venue on Plaza Drive in Lewes, however.

There's a two-story laser tag experience (and really, every beach town should have one of those, right?) and an arcade with enough games to keep any family busy for hours.
Or, there's another idea for parents who may want to enjoy something a little quieter at the venue.
Why not let your kids enjoy themselves in the arcade or romping around at the laser tag arena while you enjoy coastal Delaware’s newest culinary attraction?
That’s right. This is not your typical bowling alley food – not by a long shot.
In keeping with coastal Delaware’s growing reputation as a culinary destination, Lefty’s owners decided to step it up a notch when it came to food.
Sure, you can still get your pizza or your burger and fries if you want to. But what other bowling establishment do you know of where you can also enjoy ratatouille, braised short ribs, a New York strip steak and a chick pea salad?
Well, you can at Lefty’s. And we encourage everyone to try it out just as soon as you can. Why not do so now, during the offseason and before it becomes jam packed with beachgoers?
We sure had a fun time during our first trip to Lefty's, and we're certain you will as well. It's yet another coastal Delaware establishment that comes highly recommended by all of us here at the Oldfather Group.
